Why Chelsea Fans Should Not Get Upset After Spurs Loss!

Social media went crazy last night when the leaders Chelsea were beaten by a free-flowing Spurs  5-3 at White Hart Lane.Chelsea fans went ballistic to criticize the players especially Cahill and Ivanovic.A couple of significant records were broken-First time in his Chelsea Managerial Career, Jose Mourinho’s team conceded four goals or more and first time he lost to Spurs Manager Pochetino in 8 games.In a nutshell, it was a creepy night for Chelsea fans on social media and to pour some salt on their wounds, Frank Lampard scored the winner for rivals Manchester City earlier.But, Chelsea fans need not to panic and upset after one bad day at the office for Jose’s men.Below are some reasons to believe that Chelsea are still going to win the League.

We will play Manchester City on 31st January at Stamford Bridge, which we should win given the record Chelsea has against Big teams at Home during Jose’s tenure.

Manchester City still has to play Everton, Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea away from home in which they will lose many points and they will play back to back against Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea in January during which they won’t have Aguero, Dzeko, and Yaya Toure will also be off to AFCON.

Chelsea have relatively very easy fixtures within the Champions League games against the likes of Burnley Leicester West Ham and With the squad depth we have, we should be easily winning those by rotating the players.

The most important reason to believe is that we have the best players in the world at every position and we have the best manager in the world in our dugout which is the most experienced when it comes to tight title battles having defeated the best ever Barcelona team to La Liga during his Real Madrid reign.

WE CHELSEA fans should not lose hope and panic about that one odd loss against Spurs.We have the best squad in the league and the best manager, so lets be calm and KTBFFH!

CHELSEA FC-A STRIKER Short Of Eternity!

A striker is a man who can change the course of the game on his own as we have seen RVP,Messi and Ronaldo doing tons of times over the years.He is the one that can win you titles on his own,Diego Maradona,Thiery Henry,Luis Ronaldo,Lionel Messi and DIDIER DROGBA have done it countless number of times over the period of time.

When the season started,lots of people including me raised the question mark over Chelsea’s lack of ambition in signing a world class(in-form) striker when King Didier departed and Lukaku loaned out.Fernando Torres was the only man to do the honours which he wouldnt do provided the form he was in.While elsewhere,having the likes of Rooney and Hernandez,both in form and lethal,SAF decided to poach another profolic striker in Robin Van Persie from Arsenal,a move that practically won them the league.Thats called intelligence.

Now I will prove with the help of evidence,how an inform and World Class Striker could have changed the course of Chelsea’s season.Having the likes of Oscar,Mata and Hazard in attack,Chelsea were never short of playing attractive football,creating numerous chances in process,but there was no one to take advantage of that brilliance.Torres did at the start of the season but couldnt do when it really did matter.We practically lost 19 points and 3 trophies where we played good but we were not clinical enough infront of goal to secure the points when RVP scored the hattrick against Southampton,when United were losing 2-0 after the 70mins.Thats clinical.We lost 5 points against QPR who are recently relegated,5 points against Southampton,2 points against Reading who are newly promoted.Thats insane.Chelsea with Didier were never like this.We were not clinical enough in League Cup Sem Finals,CWC Final,the trophies which we should have won with not much difficulty.A STRIKER is really a difference between a good and a World Class team.

Chelsea did Sign Demba Ba in January Transfer Window but he was unable to save us from the misery and couldn’t help that much.He is a very good finisher but what we need,is a World Class stuff,who can do wonders on his own.

By signing a World Class Striker like Falcao or Lewandoski and recalling Lukaku who has shown a lot of improvement under Steve Clarke at WBA,Chelsea will emerge as a Super Force next season and can compete and win lots of trophies in coming seasons.

 

WHY Chelsea Are Failing In Every BIG Games?

How Big Games Are Won?

The only way Chelsea became European Champions was the characters like John Terry,Frank Lampard,Didier Drogba,Ashley Cole and Petr Cech who always led the team with an example in all the big games and they managed to create history by over-turning the deficit against Napoli and beating Barcelona with two goals and a man down at Camp Nou,where most of the teams come and go with only a defeat.They showed how to win big games with sheer determination and the handling of the pressure of big occasions which is what the current Chelsea side always lack when there is no Frank or Terry on the field.Thats why Blues’ form graph in the league and CL dropped suddenly when Frank and Terry were injured.Below is the listed matches  Chelsea lost which they should have won easily with the quality they have.

Then came the first big test of Chelsea’s talent,Manchester City in Community Shield.Chelsea lost 3-2 but score line didnt tell the true story.Chelsea were not good enough to overcome the Champions as they provided a lack-luster display at Villa Park.There was an excuse in that.Mata and Oscar were busy with their nations in Olympics so can be forgiveable though not forgetable.

Next Challenge was 2nd Trophy,The Super Cup,courtesy of their dramatic Champions League win over Bayern Munich.Chelsea were literally outcalssed by a side which is unable to be in Top 4 of La Liga for many seasons.Chelsea were no way near to what they should be,seeing the talent they had at their disposal.

Chelsea started their season with lots of goals and cleansheets in the Premier League but that only lasted when they faced England’s most successful team,Manchester United.It was a controversial loss for the Blues but after that lost,the team suddenly lost all its glare and quality and ultimately RDM losing his job to Roman’s impatience.In the mean time,Chelsea were outclassed again by Shkahtar(twice) and Juventus and Chelsea crashed out of Europe,becoming the worst ever holders of the holy grail.Chelsea recently went to Japan hoping to claim World Club title in which they produced another lackluster performance  in the final against a mediocre team Corinthians who had immense support in the stadium.Frank coming back from injury looked clueless in the midfield as Chelsea lost another trophy which they should have won and only one cause,NO LEADERSHIP!

In all the above described situations,Chelsea only lacked the leadership on the field which immensely talented Mata,Oscar and Hazard will only get with time.With Ashley Cole and Frank leaving the Bridge at the end of the season,Chelsea will struggle in big games unless a leader comes out of the team and lead by example.

Di Matteo Had Too Much For Toon

Chelsea played their final Premier League match before the international break against Newcastle last night and they had too much to offer for the toon as they maintained 100% record to claim 9 points of 9 in the 1st 3 matches.Chelsea showed glimpses of what Roman Abramovich want from them,the beautiful football.Hazard and Mata linking up well and Chelsea were deadly at counter attacks with lightning speed of Hazard and Mata.

Roberto Di Matteo played a perfect formation and tactics according to the challenge Alan Pardew’s men could offer.Cahill and Luiz started at the heart of the defence because of an injury to Terry.He started Raul ahead of Lampard alongside Mikel to make a strong midfield that could stop the likes of Cabaye,Jonas and Ben Arfa.Bertrand started on the left,Mata in the centre and Hazard on the right.Hazard was switching flanks while Bertrand was on defensive duties back.Bertrand really kept Ben Arfa,who could have been an a real threat to Chelsea,in his pocket throughout the match.Fernando Torres worked really hard as always and looks like his old self is back in the business.He looked very sharp throughout the match and he earned a penalty when he was clipped in the box,which Hazard converted calmly in the absence of Lampard.

Hazard again proved that why he will be a big hit in the Premier League by showing up his dribbling skills,passing through the defenders with the  lightning speed,twisting and turning from the players on several occasions.He was taunted for his back heel fail against City,so he slapped on those faces by backheeling for Torres outside the box which he poked with his toe in the back of the net for second Chelsea goal.Fernando Torres and Eden Hazard were outstanding again.

But apart from the brilliance of Hazard and co.the two players who really bossed the game were Mikel and Raul.They completely outplayed Newcastle in the midfield.They were defensively soo strong and they played key passes to the attackers while providing cover to the back 4.RDM was spot on with his selection for the midfield as Lampard like to go forward very much and we could have lost the midfield battle that way.Mikel Obi was real boss in the midfield.Hardly lost the ball and dispossessed the opponents several times.He was just showing why he was rated as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world a couple of years ago.

All in all a perfect result and a second cleansheet in 3 matches for the blues who are up and running for the title this time.Roberto Di Matteo is playing his cards in a very sensible way so far and if he keeps doing like this,he will lead the blues to a very successful compaign.

Chelsea Vs Newcastle – The Real Challenge

Chelsea Vs New Castle,Saturday 5:30pm UK Time.

The fans welcome the new era of Chelsea,’The Attacking Chelsea’ or ‘The Beautiful Chelsea’ because the style of play which RDM and Abramovich are deploying is both attacking and beautiful to watch unlike previous teams of Chelsea;all this at the expense of almost £85m spent in the summer.

The first two games saw Chelsea scoring 6 and conceding 2 goals and a new attacking style of play but these two games were against the sides which Chelsea are expected to settle down very easily.The First Real Challenge of ‘New Look’ Chelsea will be on Saturday agianst a resurgent New Castle side who had beaten Chelsea very comprehensively at Stamford Bridge last season.The game that saw Cisse break all the laws of Physics to score the goal of the season.The New Castle side in the managerial reigns of Alan Pardew finished above Chelsea on 5th last season and were one of the surprise packages of the season.They brought on some very good players and they play with a beautiful attacking style.So,I expect Chelsea to be tested in all areas of the game on Saturday.

Chelsea have to strong in all areas of the game in order to have a chance in the game.Chelsea will be without Captain John Terry with a neck injury as confirmed by RDM so,I expect Gary Cahill and David Luiz to start in the heart of the defence.Ivanovic and Cole will retain their positions at the full back places.We will be needing a solid midfield in order to cut short the threats offered by Yohan Cabaye and Chek Tiote.I expect Mikel and Lampard to be in the DM roles to break down the attack before it reaches to our defence.Our attack should be the same as against Reading but expect Sturridge to be given the nod ahead of Fernando Torres,

Match Facts:

New Castle are unbeaten against Chelsea(At Stamford Bridge) in the last four league and Cup meetings(W2 D2).

Demba Ba’s goal against Totenham was his first in 15 league and Cup games and he only scored 2 goals when playing alongside Papiss Cisse,thats a positive for Chelsea.

New Castle made 112 substitutions last season,more than any PL side.

I expect this a very tight encounter but Chelsea will have edge because of Hazard’s magic.His dribbling,twists and turns have earned 2 penalties in the last two games and was directly involved in 5 of the Chelsea’s 6 goals so far.He and Mata adds soo much speed and flair that makes Chelsea a dangerous counter attacking side.

Chelsea have now made two very decent signings Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses(terms to be agreed) that will give soo much depth to Chelsea squad who are upto a big Challenge this season.

Moses Bid Accepted

 

Atlast another saga came to end last night when Wigan Athletic announced on their official website that they have accepted the bid from Chelsea for their forward Victor Moses.They said that they had previously rejected 4 bids from the Chelsea and thier 5th bid matched Wigan’s valuation of the player.Now they have given permission to Victor Moses to speak about terms with Chelsea.

Official confirmation on the website of Wigan Athletic:The club can confirm that after four unsuccessful bids from Chelsea for Victor Moses, a fifth bid has today finally met the valuation and terms set by Wigan Athletic and been accepted. The player has been given permission to speak with Chelsea.

Hazardous Debut

Chelsea acquired the service of highly rated and talented youngster Eden Hazard from French Ligue 1 side Lille in the summer for a huge £32m fee.Much more pressure came with the price tag and he wass due to deliver his best from the very start.He impressed in pre-season with a goal on his debut against Sounders in US and also impressed in the remaining preseason games.

When the Community Shield came and Hazard was thought to be failed in the test against a resurgent city by many of his critics but he showed his skills on the pitch with some mind boggling dribbles,change of side and dodging players in the blink of an eye.He was easily the most fouled player on the pitch and he answered his critics with an amazing performance.

Then came his Premier League debut time and this time DW and Wigan were his opponents.Wigan is one of the most physical sides in the Premier League and Hazard was believed to be struggling with the Physical attribute of the Premier League but Hazard again was the dominant party,making Chelsea more threatning on counter attacks with his speed and flair.In the very 2nd minute of his Premier League debut,Hazard was given the ball,surrounded by 2 Wigan players;he took a sharp turn and Wigan’s new signing Ramis was short of pace and ideas against him.He then delivered a through pass to Ivanovic,who calmly put the ball in Al-Habsi’s net for the 1st Chelsea goal.

His debut was not finished yet.In the 7th minute,he ran into the Wigan’s defence,and again Ramis was t he guilty party who brought down Hazard inside tho box and refree awarded the spot kick which Frank Lampard converted with ease as he always does.

On several occassions during his 75min debut,he showed what he is capable of by dribbling past defenders,sharp turns and beautiful passes.He showed he can cope with the physical game of Premier League and can be a hit in his first season.

We will see more of Hazard in tommarow’s game vs Reading at Stamford Bridge but one thing is for sure,the man has all the attributes to be one of the very best in the world and he has shown glimpses of that as now.

Wigan Vs Chelsea – The First Step

Atlast we are here to welcome the Premier League again after a busy summer, full of Football and Olympics.Officially the Football is BACK AGAIN.And Chelsea will begin their campaign away to DW stadium,where Wigan will be hosting the blues,in what will be RDM’s 1st league game as permanent manager.Blues will be looking to stamp their impression as title contenders after they spent a busy summer in transfer market,buying one of the brightest talents in the shape of Hazard,Marin and Oscar.While Wigan are on the verge of losing their best player of last season Victor Moses to their Sunday opponent  Chelsea.

Everyone want to start the season on a high to build confidence in the team but Chelsea need victory more than any other team as pressure is immense for success after a spending spree of nearly £70m,also RDM will not wish that anyone raise any kind of questions over his management in this early of the season,as British media is master in demolishing any confidence and morale on every possible occasion.

FORMATION: RDM should use 4-2-3-1 as it has been his favourable formatuon in Chelsea.Mikel and Lampard should be holding midfielders providing cover to rather attacking back 4 of Chelsea and to control a packed midfield of Wigan as Roberto Martinez plays 3-4-3 or 3-5-2.As Oscar has recently joined the squad,so he is unlikely to start and Ramires will be playing as RW.RDM used hazard on LW and Mata in the Centre but i would play Mata on the left and Hazard in the centre as this is the most effective.Mata is used to playing LW but Hazard is not.But I think RDM will use the same formation like against city.Marin is still injured with hamstring problem as confirmed by RDM today.Torres should be leading the line as his confidence is on its peak.

KEY PLAYERS:

Wigan: Victor Moses is the most key player for Latics and he is in the squad despite reports saying that he is close to signing for Chelsea.According to Opta Stats,he completed most dribbles(95) in the Premier League.

Chelsea: Fernando Torres will be the key player for Chelsea.He has confidence now,and when he has that,he is one of the most lethal strikers in the world.His form and confidence is the key to success for Chelsea in the coming season.

Head To Head:

Trip to Wigan was just like a formality few seasons ago as Chelsea thrashed them 6-0 there in 2010 and a record defeat of 8-0 in May,2010 at Stamford Bridge to claim the title.But last season games against Wigan were hard as we drew 1-1 ad DW stadium and a mere refree fluke gave us a win in 92nd min at Stamford Bridge.Chelsea have won five of the last seven games at DW and won 11 of the 14 games against Wigan in Premier League.

Despite all the pressure on Di Matteo and New Look Chelsea team and despite Wigan’s fighting spirit,I would expect Chelsea to come back as easy victors from the DW Stadium.

Nathaniel Chalobah,A Rising Star!

Just to take some time from Transfer Heat up and our targets,I thought to highlight one of the brightest talents we have in our youth system,yes Nathaniel Chalobah as the title suggests.A 6ft 2” centeral defender,who holds immense physical qualities and has great defensive abilities making him one of the bosses of the match in which he plays,all this at the age of JUST 17.

International Career: He captains England and Chelsea at Youth and Reserves levels respectively and has all the attributes needed to become the leader of a team.He has represented England at U-17 and U-19 levels and he was the youngest player in U-17 European Championships in 2010 which England won.He is now a regular member of Noel Blake’s U-19 team and has served as the Captain in 2011-12 season.

Chelsea Career: He made his debut for U-18 side just after his 15th birthday in 2009-10 season and has made impressive progress at all levels.He made his reserve team debut also in the same season in a friendly in March 2010.He had won FA Youth Cup last season with scoring in the final,which saw a record scoring in the history of competition’s final.

He also plays as a holding midfielder and has immense qualities for that position too,making him one of the bright prospects in English Football.He is also dubbed as the next Terry of Chelsea because of his immense leadership qualities and very similar defensive qualities as Terry has.I hope his development will carry on smoothly at Chelsea and he will soon feature for the 1st team in the Premier League.

Kakuta Wants OUT!

Chelsea have been criticised widely on their promotion of youth from their academy and lack of chances for youngsters in 1st team.We have examples like Scott Sinclair,Fabio Borini who have been sold beacause of lack of chances at Stamford Bridge and we have another youngster Gael Kakuta who wants to leave us.

In a recent media interaction,he has clearly showed his intentions of leaving Chelsea and go back to France because of lack of opportunities.He only made one Premier League start for Chelsea since his signing from Lens in 2007.

He said: “It’s better for me to leave the club and find one where I could play matches”.

He also hinted to several clubs where would like to play in France.

“In France, Marseille, Lyon and Lille are the three clubs I like the most”.

Chelsea are also considering using Kakuta in a deal to sign their RB target Cesar Azpilicueta from Marseile as they are interested in Chelsea winger too.

Kakuta is a decent talent but was definitely not good enough to make his place in a Chelsea squad.We hope not to lose our prize youth assests  and we expect RDM to give youth their deserved chance in Chelsea lineup this season.
